One Year Later

They really have taken to the window sill above the bed

It's surprising how quickly a year has passed since we first got the kittens. They have definitely grown both physically and into their own personalities. But even though they are very different, they really do act as brother and sister, being very cute in the process.

A different type of snuggle

For comparison, here are a few photos from the first blog post.

And here are some more recent ones.

Shepard (AKA Floofy Floof) has gotten such a fluffy tail, and it has developed an almost regal drape.

And Freya (AKA Little Weirdo) no longer has her bug eyes, but will still demand love whenever she pleases.

A more traditional snuggle

These aren't the first kittens I've had, but it still caught me a bit off guard to see them grow from small tufts of chaos to full cats. Before they were as large, we would joke that they were to small to be kitty cats, so they would be kit-cats in the meantime. In my eyes, they are still kittens, even if technically they are now adults.

Shepard is concerned why you aren't petting him

They still like playing with each other, and our house is often filled with the sounds of them chasing each other down the hall.

Here's to many more years to come.
